“Writing is a case of letting the writing do what it wants. It’s knowing and not knowing what you’re going to write, not believing that you know the answer, and being afraid.”

— Marguerite Duras, from an interview conducted c. December 1967

Today was a pretty stressful day due to my inability to work on the paper that's due next week. I just hate leaving something not done, but there was no possibility of getting it all done due to things that needed doing not having been done or finished the day before by others (who knows why, but that’s not really important). I am trying to just breathe through my own frustration with having to leave one task unchecked for the day.

I’ve been making some really great progress on moving a project over to google docs from word and I don’t really want to be slowing down on that, so I need to go to sleep earlier, wake up earlier, do those edits and such in the morning before my classes, come home at 6 pm, clean, perhaps sneak in more edits if time allows, and then get to bed to do it all again. This is the way I currently think is going to work best and equate to the most productivity for me, so we are going to start this evening on trying this out - I’ve already managed some of the cleaning part.

This has been my best. It’s all I have.
