You know, 2020 doesn’t seem like it’s going to be an easy one, but I had my first interview with the school's communication director today and talked about how the Turkish president was sending the insurgents/irredentists/ jihadis in northern Syria to help the UN-backed Libyan government in its fight against the Sudanese and Russian mercenaries in Egyptian- and French-backed General Hafter's forces so as to protect its territorial waters against the Israeli and Greek advances in the Mediterranean... and his head exploded! Politics of the Middle East is not for the faint of heart, but, at least I'm becoming an expert on Middle Eastern experts. Small victories, I guess.
I've also come to realize that the essence of the academia is crossing one item off your to-do list, then adding five more ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ It is not even 9:30 pm and I’m 100% ready for bed.
