My bags were finally unpacked, and we were celebrating our first night back on campus with some Smirnoff Ice Green Apple Bite drinks and the new roommates.Ahhhh! How good it feels to be back, right?
Not at the first glance, though.
Okay, the scaring 11-hour-flight was not that bad, as Sam was with me and Mr. Bolan came to pick us up right after we landed. I stayed over at Sam's, and spent the day there till tuesday on which I was back to Binghamton, heading back to a cramped, 8×10 box that college officials have dubbed " the dorm." :P haha, no, I'm just kidding - Mountainview College is A LOT better than Newing College(or than any other community, for that matter). Foullin helped me to check in, thank God, I couldn't do it by myself (I do not understand how they can expect new students to find Appalachian and do those things on their own, either!) When I saw the suite for the first time, it just took me a few secs to find out Tamsin and Dahea had already arrived - I didn't see them for the first two days, though, we communicated via post-its due to their overloaded orientation program:P BTW, they're perfect suitemates, especially Tamsin is so cute with her weird British accent! Anyway, at my first night, when I got back to the dorm after midnight, I couldn't get in, can you believe that? When I went to the downstairs and asked what was wrong with my keycard, RD said probably my "door battery is dead". The door battery? What the hell is that? Sure, I didn't expect our doors to open through some kind of magic, but ..a battery that needs to be changed? seriously? I couldn't believe it if I didn't see with my own eyes! A cute/kinda handsome RA changed it, fortunetely, and I could spend the night in my dorm room! However, there was another problem waiting for me: as we had stored our stuff in U-Haul just before going back to Turkey, I had virtually nothing with me except some clothes. Nothing! Neither comforters, nor pillows- and the room was effing cold!! I silently thanked to mom, who insisted I should take a blanket with me and tried vainly to warm my hands underneath it. Yet, when I was thinking 'okay, things couldn't get worse', it got worse (aaaah Murphy!) -my computer cracked up! What a night!! I don't know what happened, I was doing that verification thing to connect to the internet, and all of a sudden, my screen froze..and that was all. I couldn't do anything, ANYTHING AT ALL! Mind you, my laptop is everything for me, my only access to the outside world, even to my precious family! So it's not surprising that I went crazy, and I took it to the Computer Center first thing in the morning. They said they would call me when they had time and I went to the library. Remember when I said I would never, ever, go to the library in the opening week? Okay, 'never say never' is the right saying. Thank God, the rest of the day was fun -reunions are always fun with loud shrieking screams of "OhMyGod OhMyGod OhMyGod!! HOW ARE YOU!?" and group hugs. The scene was repeated every time I saw one of my friends here and there:"Hey! I'm good! How was your summer? When did you get back? How are the others? Did you see anybody living in Windham? Any cute boys here? We should totally do lunch this week! When are we gonna hang out? I miss yooooou." Hahaha! It seems now I've got lunch dates with 10 people and dinner plans with 8 more, only half of which I actually plan on attending:)

oops! It's already 10.40. I need to go and have breakfast now, otherwise I'll be starving in my interesting -yet insanely difficult- elective starting within an hour!
