i know how to choose a winner...
out of fifty-something total professors in the program, and out of eleven of which i am interested in working with, the one i like the most turns out to have graduated from harvard undergrad and harvard med school. it's because he uses the magic word 'autism' of course.
i also almost always like the more expensive thing better before i know about the prices.
what i thought i wanted is turning out the way exactly as i wanted before i decided what i thought i wanted.
meaning, asking for something and not getting it might be better for you sometimes.
how personal should you get on a personal statement? i know getting way more personal than i wanted for undergrad did not exactly go the way my advisors and i had hoped.
