it made me happy wishing good things for them. that last email was too cute. and i do miss cinda's pecan and pumpkin pies.
i hadn't noticed till then save for a slight pain in my cheeks but alyssa was hilarious pointing out how they always smiled. i had to warn her to behave.
i love the picture they gave me of the four of them, happy smiles and pink cheeks galore.
i plan to make a playlist, watch elf and love actually, and write cards in the next couple of days. a trip to a mall could be good too, mainly to take a look at the decorations.
i loved it when we would drive through maine during this time of the year. there would be snow everywhere, huge white piles of it. everywhere you looked, every tree, house, hill could be on a postcard. the houses had the cutest lights up. children would play in the front yard, making it look like a scene from a movie.
hmm i guess i miss the snow, although it still does not feel like full-on winter here.
