Broome County Executive Barbara J. Fiala has declared a state of emergency as a result of the hazardous weather and has restricted all unnecessary travel on the roadways so emergency crews can effectively operate. All non-emergency travel is restricted at this time.
CLARIFICATION:
The State of Emergency and travel restriction order was made at this time due to some road crews being unable to keep up with snowfall leading to deteriorating road conditions.
Umm..should I pray for another snowday?
