Going back to my alma mater made me realize that you don't just wipe away your old life and start over without a few misgivings.
Two months ago I couldn't have managed it.
It's a little like looking in the rear view mirror and seeing where I have been - and deciding it wasn't such an awful place. Not necessarily a place I would want to return to, but a place I'm glad to have been.
Yet, now I am little shocked at how remote that previous has become.
