It's textbook time again - the moment when I look down my syllabi and groan at the hundreds of dollars that could have gone to things like food (or that fantasy fall wardrobe) that I will instead be laying down for a series of eight-pound comparative politics books.
So far, I've spent more money on my Scope and Epistemology photocopies than I would on my first born child -not exactly my idea of a good time!
Also, unavoidably, books are heavy, and particularly with my grad seminars, I could be looking down a semester of lugging around my body weight in textbooks.
Oh..Isn't that just lovely?
